The Kenya Society for Basic and Applied Pharmacology (KeSoBAP)

The Kenya Society for Basic and Applied Pharmacology (KeSoBAP) was formed in January 2007. The aim of the society is to promote training and research in basic and applied pharmacology.

KeSoBAP is an official member of the International Union of Pharmacology (IUPHAR) and the Pharmacology for Africa Initiative (PharfA).

Membership to the Society include any person who is, or has been engaged in teaching or research or practice of pharmacology, or related sciences and subject to the approval of the Management Committee, and payment of a subscribed fee which shall be determined by the Management Committee.

Membership is renewed by payment of annual subscription fee not later than the 31st day of January each year. Rules relating to procedures governing resignation, expulsion and any disciplinary actions are clearly spelt out in the constitution.
